Workshop on Career Opportunities in Digital Marketing

Jalandhar, June 10, 2018: In order to fill the gap between industry and academia by facilitating to develop them as industry professional, Innocent Hearts Group of institutions organized a seven days workshop on Career opportunities in Digital Marketing in Loharan Campus.
The lecture was organized for the students of BCA & MCA students, Mr.Gagandeep Cheema faculty of Information Technology department said that digital marketing is the promotion of products or brands via one or more forms of electronic media. Clarifying it further, he said that Digital marketing offers the prospect of increasing and enhancing the interactions and relationships with current and prospective customers through social networking and mobile applications. He said that this technology helped to analyze the marketing campaigns and understand the viability of events happening in the real time. He informed the students that the concept of digital marketing has gained momentum all around the world due to the substantial increase in the mobile and internet users.
Motivating the students towards opting Digital Marketing as their career, he said that the number of visionary marketers and branding professionals was majorly skewed in comparison to the extensive rise in digital marketing. He encouraged the students to opt for this field as the smaller businesses in smaller cities like Jalandhar had greater prospects of benefitting from digital marketing. The interactive session was then followed by a question answer round where the students clarified all their doubts. Dr Shailesh Tripathi, Group Director congratulated the participant students and said that the modern world of employment demanded multi-talented and skilled work-force. Such course help in improving the job prospects of young students.
