Wish Day being celebrated at Cambridge International School, Jalandhar.

Jalandhar, April 20, 2015: Cambridge International School, Chotti Baradari , Jalandhar celebrated ‘Wish Day’ wherein the children of Grade I to IV were given a chance to make wishes. The purpose behind was to give expression to their innermost unshared feelings. It has been rightly said that foremost make a wish only then action follows that ultimately leads to change. This is what the children experienced when they did different activities related to their wishes.

Grade I and II the children penned down their wishes about what they want to become and why ? In Grade III, each child was given a sheet to express their  feelings with the heading ‘I don’t like…….’Then they wrinkled the sheet and made a ball out of it. After this they were told to smoothen it which they could not do. This was followed by a discussion on how they wish to make cordial atmosphere at school and home. After this they were given another sheet with the heading ‘sticks and stones can break my bones, but words can really hurt me’ in which they wrote about the preventive measures that could be taken to avert the unpleasant incidents. Grade IV students were given a worksheet in which they were asked to write about three wishes if the genie appears in front of them. The teachers also wrote their wishes and put them on the wish tree along with the kids’ wishes.

Chairman Ajay Bhatia, Deputy Chairman Deepak Bhatia, Directors Learning Wings Dr Brijesh and Nitin Kohli, Director CIS J K Kohli, Academic Director Deepa Dogra and Principal Kiranjoth Dhillon wished the students happy learning and a very bright future.
