Jalandhar: On the second day of Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar’s Youth Festival 2016, students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar left their mark by winning titles in 9 out of 10 items. Known as the preserver of culture and heritage, Apeejay’s talented participants grabbed first positions in Classical Instrumental Non-Percussion, Geet Ghazal, Phulkari, Rangoli and Costume Parade. They also grabbed second positions in Classical Instrumental Percussion, Folk Song and Third position in Debate and One Act Play. The artistic skills of the College students were tremendously appreciated by the audience.
Principal Dr. Sucharita heartily congratulated all the winners and wished them luck to touch the pinnacles of glory in future. She said Apeejay is widely known for nurturing talents and its alumni have gone to heights only because of their participation in Youth Festivals.
