WIFE KILLS husband

Ludhiana, March 7, 2013: An incident of stabbing has come to light, in which a wife killed her husband at LIG flats, near Chandigarh road here in the morning on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Gurmeet Singh (30), a truck driver.

And the accused has been identified as Darshna.

According to available information, the deceased, when returned to his home this morning , was in an inebriated condition.

On reaching at home, a fight aroused between husband and wife following which the latter stabbed to death the former.

Darshana stabbed with a sharp edged weapon on neck of her husband. The latter died on the spot due to profuse bleeding.

After this, Darshana informed the police. She narrated the whole story to the police.

Both Darshana and Gurmeet had got married about four years ago

Darshana informed the police that since her marriage, Gurmeet under influence of liquor used to beat her on petty issues. This morning too happened the same, she said.

Police have arrested Darshana on the charge of murder.

Police did not rule out the possibility of extramarital relations behind the murder.

However, further police investigations are on.

The couple is said to be issueless so far.
