White Coat Ceremony held for fresh medicos

Ludhiana, October 9, 2019: White Coat Ceremony was held today in Auditorium of Dayanand Medical College Campus. The chief guest, on the occasion, was Rakesh Aggarwal, IPS (Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana).
During the ceremony, all the students of new MBBS Batch 2019 were introduced the audience and white coat was worn to them by their parents, which really a very nostalgic moment for both the parents as well as their children.
Principal Dr Sandeep Puri warmly welcome the dignitaries, parents and fresh batch of MBBS students. Dr Puri introduced the faculty members of various disciplines to the students. In his message, Dr Puri said that in the field of medicine, one always remain a student and the more we incline to learn, the more better our knowledge becomes in the subjects.
Secretary of DMCH Managing Society Prem Kumar Gupta congratulated the fresh batch of students and their parents for achieving this dream of getting their wards admitted into prestigious medical college of the country. He assured the parents that their wards will get best of the medical education in the institute.
Dean Academics Dr Rajoo Singh Chhina said that medical education has revolutionized in present times and it should be utmost responsibility of the students to keep themselves updated about their undergraduate subjects. He introduced the chief guest Sh Rakesh Aggarwal to the audience, who has till now acquired many prestigious post in Indian Police Services.
Rakesh Aggarwal extended congratulations to the fresh batch of medicos and gave them some precious advices to excel in their chosen field. He strongly told them to stay away from drugs and should never dare to taste such substances for fun sake.
Assistant Dean Academics Dr Sandeep Kaushal proposed a vote of thanks to all those present on the occasion and assured the fresh batch of students that DMCH is strictly a zero ragging institute, and caters to every aspects that goes in the overall development of a medical professional.
