The aim was to bring an event that can make people understand how dedicated our Army is towards national security and how they train these 'friends of humans' to work along with humans to make life more secure for the countrymen

West Delhi’s first ever dog show at Pacific Mall

New Delhi: West Delhi is going to the first-ever dog show by the Indian Army at Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden. Fifteen dogs -- Labradors & German Shepherds -- participated in the event accompanied by 15 officers (handlers) and one Major. 

The dog squad of Army travelled from Meerut to Delhi with their handlers to exhibit their skills in tracking, guarding and attacking along with their capabilities of obedience, explosive detection, tracking, mine detection & guarding evoked huge appreciation from the general public. These fierce Multi-Purpose Canines (MPC's) assisting the Indian Army in all special operations  such as guarding vital defence installations, national events and for providing security to VVIPs.

Pacific Group has four shopping malls at Delhi's Tagore Garden, Pacific D21, Dwarka, Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh and Dehradun in Uttarakhand, totalling around 15 lakh sq ft of retail area. The mall keeps doing such activities for the entertainment of people in the area that makes up for their fun weekend. 

“The aim is to bring an event that can make people understand how dedicated our Army is towards national security and how they train these 'friends of humans' to work along with humans to make life more secure for the countrymen. The response from the public was heartening and we intend to keep up the spirit of celebration for the Christmans and New Year. A lot many activities are in planned to make sure that Pacific Mall should be The Destnation for the people on Christmas and New Year's Eve,” says  Mr Abhishek Bansal, Executive Director, Pacific Group
