Ferozepur, October 27, 2012: An active NGO, the Streamline Welfare Society, Ferozepur organised its 99th awareness camp in association with the Civil Surgeon, Ferozepur at Guru Harkrishan Public School, Ferozepur, Cantt Board High School, Government Primary Schools, Aku Ke Hittar, to give awareness about the Dengu fever, its symptoms and remedies.
Dr. Dewan Chand Sukhija, retired Assistant Malaria Officer, speaking on the occasion gave a detailed knowledge on Dengu fever and also distributed the printed literature.
The tooth paste and brushes were also distributed to the students in the schools and lecture about taking care of teeth was also arranged.
On the occasion, all the members of the society were present.
The president of the society said that SWS would continue to organise such in the remote areas and shortly celebrating its 100th awareness camp.
