Chandigarh, December 9, 2012:The teams of National Anti Dope Agency (NADA) are hovering over the venues of 3rd world cup Kabaddi 2012 to collect the samples for dope test. 7 more players from 3 Kabaddi teams have been chosen for the dope test.

Disclosing this here today Sikander Singh Maluka, Senior Vice Chairman of organizing committee, 3rd World Cup Kabaddi 2012, said that out of 7 players whose samples have been taken 5 belong to England and 1 each from India and Canada. “Till date in total 88 samples have been collected for dope test by teams of NADA, the Punjab government earmarked Rs. 40 lakh for the dope tests”, added Maluka. He said that the samples would be tested in the laboratories duly recognised by WADA.

He further said that team India has undergone twice for the dope test, as the first dope test on the Indian players was conducted during the trails. He said that all Indian players of men and women teams cleared the dope test.
