Mansa/Chandigarh, December 11, 2012: The organising committee of 3rd World Cup Kabaddi announced that the best raider and stopper in women category would also get Motor Cycles apart from the prize money.
This was disclosed by Sikander Singh Maluka, senior vice chairman of organising committee.
Maluka said that this decision has been taken with the view to encourage fairer sex. He said that the Punjab Government has recently increased the prize money for the champion team from Rs. 25 lakh to Rs. 51 lakh. He said that the best raider and stopper would also be awarded with Honda Motor Cycle costing 55 thousand.
