VOTER AWARENESS FUNCTION UNDER SVEEP ORGANISED AT SRS GOVT GIRLS COLLEGE

Ludhiana, January 24, 2019: Under the SVEEP programme of the Election Commission of India, an awareness seminar regarding voting was organised at SRS Government Girls College, Rishi Nagar, Ludhiana, which falls in Vidhan Sabha constituency 064 Ludhiana (West). During this seminar, the college students were urged to get themselves registered as voters and also importance of voting.
On this occasion, the volunteers from Initiators of Change motivated the students about this issue in detail. Nodal Officers Mr Lakhwinder Singh Sandhu and Mr Sukhwinder Singh Leel also addressed the students. College principal Mr Mahinderpal Singh, Mr Jasvir Singh, were also present on the occasion.
