VOCATIONAL TRAINING COURSE ON PREPARATION OF CLEANING AGENTS ORGANIZED AT KVK FARIDKOT

Ludhiana, November 10, 2017: Krishi Vigan Kendra, Faridkot organized 5 days Vocational Training course on Preparation of cleaning agents from 6 November 2017 to 10 November 2017 in which 9 trainees (4 farm women and 5 farmers) participated. The training course started with the welcome address. Dr.Jagdish Grover, Assoc. Director (T) oriented the participants about the services rendered by KVK, Faridkot. Course Incharge Dr.(Mrs.) Jaswinder Kaur Brar, Professor (Home Science) delivered lectures on Importance of cleanliness and cleaning agents, Scope to become an entrepreneur for cleaning agents. She also explained about material required and making of different cleaning products. Mrs.Navdeep Kaur Sandhu, Programme Asstt. demonstrated the methods of preparation of washing soap, detergent, white phenyl, black phenyl, liquid dish wash and bathing soap. were given to the participants. S. Gursewak Singh Walia, Financial Literacy Advisor from LEAD Bank, Faridkot created awareness among the participants about financial loans given by banks to start an enterprise. For the perfection in acquiring the skills, trainees prepared the products themselves. This training concluded with the motivation to the trainees to prepare the products for their own use and adopt this as an enterprise to supplement their income.
