Visit to Verka Milk Plant

Ludhiana, February 24, 2016: Maple Bear Canadian Playway & Nursery School, Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana organized an educational tour to Verka Milk Plant, Ludhiana. Generally there is a concern of the parents that their kids do not drink milk. Children were carrying playcards with them to show the benefits of consuming milk. Students were told the working of the Milk Plant & usefulness of the milk. Kids were also shown presentation by the Administration in the form of movie the working & the importance of quality milk & its products. Milk products like Ghee, Table Butter, Skimmed Milk Powder, Whole Milk Powder, Curd, Cheese, Milk Cake etc are being manufactured by Milk Plant Ludhiana. Children also relished the milk & its products provided to them. GM of the plant Er. Sanjeev Sharma was their to welcome the kids & he personally supervised the visit which is quite praiseworthy.
Mrs. Veena Aggarwal Principal of the school said “ We generally talk about these things to students but they can not understand it properly till they see thing working and these trips are organized to convey the right message.” With the educational tours kids talk about their experiences with teachers & parents when they see them in reality.
Milk Union, Ludhiana is further progressing by leaps and bounds and it is hoped that in the years to come, it will achieve excellent results and will help improve the social and economic condition of the people at large stated by the officials giving a message to the public at large.
