Students during their visit to SBS Technical Campus at Ferozepur.
Ferozepur, December 25, 2015: The Programme chalked out by District Education Officer (Senior Secondary) and District Science Supervisor, Ferozepur for arrangement of visit of various Government School students to Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus, Ferozepur was completed successfully. Total 1025 students from Senior Secondary Schools of Ferozepur District of 10th Class and 10+2 class (Science group) from Ferozeur (Boys and Girls); Bazidpur; Mamdot (Boys); Sande Hasham; Khai Feme Ki; Guruharsahai (Girls); Talwandi Bhai (Girls); Zira (Boys and Girls) and Noor Pur Sethan were benefited by visiting this Technical Campus from 12th Dec to 24th Dec, 2015. All these students were highly motivated and enthused to see the facilities and infrastructure of this NBA and NAAC Accredited ted Institute.
As per daily schedule the students were given presentation of various career options available after doing Matric and 10+2 (Science Groups). Then students were shown all the State of art Laboratories equipments of Chemical Engg, ECE, CSE, Electrical Engg, Mechanical Engg, Applied Sciences, Architecture, Civil Engineering Departments, Central Workshop, Central Library and Computer Center. The students were also shown Smart Class Rooms; Hostels; Play Grounds; Market Complex and other facilities of Campus.
As per feedback given by these students they were highly appreciative of efforts of District Education Office and District Science Supervisor Office for giving them opportunity to see this 100 acres Premier Institute of this region.
Sh Jagseer Singh, DEO and Sh Pardeep Deora (Dy DEO) expressed gratitude to Director of this Technical Campus Dr. Tejinder Singh Sidhu and Principal Polytechnic Wing Prof Gazal Preet Singh for making arrangements of visit of Government School students, including Transport and refreshment facilities. Dr. T S Sidhu assured the District Education Department that more such visits shall also be arranged for the Government High School Students in near future.
Campus Director Dr T S Sidhu and Principal Poly Wing Prof Gazal Preet Singh also thanked the District Science Supervisor Sh Rajesh Mehta; Sh. Sumit Galhotra (A.D.S.S.) and Sh. Deepak Sharma (Nodal Officer) contribution for their efforts for making various arrangements of students visit in this office.
