Visit to Khatkar Kalan Museum The True Tribute to the Martyr Bhagat Singh

Today on the eve the Martyrdom Day of The great martyr of our Nation Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh, Ludhiana based Lawyer Harpreet Sandhu requested people of Punjab particularly the younger generation that they should atleast visit and value the message of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh for his friends with his passion for his country which has been embossed on the statue of this great martyr at the museum, situated at Khatkar Kalan ancestral village of Shaheed-e-Azam in Nawanshahr now called as Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.

Harpreet Sandhu insisted that schools and other educational institutions must take students to this historical museum so that zeal of patriotism for the country is imbibed within their minds. Hence by visiting this museum, we should exhibit silent reminders of supreme sacrifices of this martyr for our mother land and value the same for future times to come.

It is worth to witness this museum where even the pen used by the executioner for signing the death sentence of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru & Sukhdev is displaed, the two original pages of the Jail diary in which Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh took notes of the books he studied in the Jail is also exhibited in the museum. Moreover copy of Judgment of the 1st Lahore Conspiracy case in which Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha was sentenced to death with Shaheed Bhagat Singh's scribed notes in his own handwriting on this copy is also a notable exhibition and the museum displays the memorable belongings of the revolutionary martyrs of the Punjab.
