Zee TV’s Kaala Teeka, a poignant social drama that breaks the shackles of age-old superstitions, has already impressed audiences with its mind blowing cast and engaging storyline. The handsome and talented actors Vineet Raina and Mayank Gandhi who portray the role of the antagonist Devri and the mentally challenged Nandu respectively will soon bid adieu to the show.

In the upcoming track, Devri will unravel the ultimate truth that he is blessed by a Satanic power and that when his blood will spill on to the ground, it will give birth to five more Devris on earth. Leading lady Kali (Simran Pareenja) will kill Devri with a Trishul, but Nandu will swing into action and get beneath Devri so that the blood of the devil does not spill on to the ground. Nandu, in the whole process, will get squashed below Devri and die alongside his evil brother.

Mayank Gandhi who played Nandu’s character says, “I’m running short of words today. The crew’s been no less than a family to me and everyone has been so good always. I have learnt a lot from Nandu as it was very challenging to play the role of a mentally challenged person and it was a wonderful experience. I am really going to miss these days on the sets and my make-up room. This is not the end but a new beginning. And before I forget, a big THANK YOU to our viewers for their unconditional love.”

Vineet Raina who played Devri’s role shares, “I absolutely loved being the villain of the show. People have hated me throughout and this is my biggest achievement as Devri. Be it at malls or any public place, I’ve often encountered nervous looks and people fumbling around while talking to me. I am really going to miss Daljeet, Fenil, Simran, Rohan, Geeta ji and the whole unit. It was a great bond and it feels like I’m saying bye to my family. But I am sure we will all stay in touch and be there for each other. I would also like to thank the production house and the channel for such a wonderful opportunity.”

In the upcoming track of Kaala Teeka, the viewers will see Kali devastated at the death of Nandu. But will she draw from her inner strength and resiliently bounce back to fulfill her responsibilities of raising her daughters Naina and Pavitra? Will Kali be a successful single mother in raising her kids?

To find out, watch Kaala Teeka Monday- Friday at 7 PM only on Zee TV.
