Ferozepur, January 8, 2013: “We should serve the humanity above the caste and religions as service to humanity is real religion”, said Vijay Chopra, Chief Editor Hind Samachar Group of Papers at the residence of young social worker Sukhchain Singh Layalpluri while discussing with the intellectuals.
On the occasion, Abhishek Arora, social worker, Pritam Singh Johal, ADC (Development), Gurmail Singh, ADC (G), Gujit Singh Pannu, SDM, Baldev Singh Bhullar, Senior District Saving Officer, Gurcharan Singh, DTO, Jasbir Singh, DSP, Pt. Bal Mukand Sharma, former Cabinet Minister, Gurnaib Singh Brar, Puran Singh Jossan, Daljit Singh Councilor, Rotarian Ravi Kant Gupta, Rakesh, Mintu Chawla, Rajinder Singh and TP Singh, Director, SBS College were present.
Vijay Chopra appealing to the society said, they should become a supporting hand to without means persons, old persons and children and by sacrificing the good for nothing expenditures, help the needy persons out of hard earned money. He further said, they should also respect women and remain a sentinel of daughters as this is the real religion.
Layalpuri honoured Vijay Chopra on his visit to Ferozepur with Shaheed Udham Singh Award on behalf of Shaheed Udham Singh Bhagat Memorial Foundation, Punjab.
