Chandigarh, September 9, 2014: Vigilance Bureau, Punjab today nabbed an Inspector, Food and Civil Supply Department red handed while receiving bribe of Rs. 3000.
Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that Inspector Vishal Kumar, Food and Civil Supply Department, posted at Patiala was nabbed on the complaint of Baljit Singh of village Issarheri, District Patiala. The complainant, who was a depot holder, alleged that the Inspector Vishal Kumar has been demanding bribe from him on monthly basis.
On the tip off, a trap was laid by the team of Vigilance Bureau team headed by inspector Ramfal during which Inspector Vishal Kumar was caught red handed while accepting bribe of Rs. 3000 from the complainant.
