'Vibes 2016'  Kicks Starts at St. Soldier Mohali

Mohali, November 26, 2016: St.Soldier Int.Convent School , Mohali celebrated the first phase of the Annual Function ‘Vibes 2016’ in the School Auditorium .

The program commenced with the introduction of the Musical extravaganza 'Into the Woods' by Taranpreet Kaur of Class V-B. Students of Classes III and V left the audience astounded and took them on a nostalgic flight back to their childhood with their immense talent and diligence when they presented a musical. There were cheers in amazement when some of the famous fairy tale icons from ""Little Red Riding Hood ", "Rapunzel", "Cinderella" and "Jack and the BeanStalk" came together with their objects in order to break an evil witch's curse on the Baker and his wife . It ended with the celebration of the reunion of the Princes with the Princesses and the birth of the Baker and his wife's child.

In the evening show the students of Classes VI and VII took the spectators to the Sherwood Forest with the stage dramatization of the Classic tale of ' Robin Hood'. The vibrancy with which the story was conceptualized through props, dances and outstanding performances of lead actors captivated the crowd. The historical play 'Banda Singh- The Brave Heart' staged by the students of Class VIII was dedicated to the life and sacrifice of “Baba Banda Singh Bahadur”. The play highlighted the commitment of “Banda Singh Bahadur” to make India free from the Mughal emperors. In the end, Chairman S. Karnail Singh Brar congratulated and applauded the effort put in by the students and the teachers.
