Ludhiana, February 12, 2019: The 715 (Independent) Air Defence Brigade would be organising a Veterans Rally for ex-servicemen at Dholewal Military Complex on March 3, 2019. While providing information, Commanding Officer Lt Col Rajeev Kumar Khatri said that during the rally, the problems related to the ex-servicemen would be discussed as well as resolved.
He said that during this rally, information related to several welfare schemes for ex-servicemen, pension, jobs and other benefits, would also be provided. He said that senior district administration and police officials would also be attending this rally so that issues related to their matters are redressed on the spot. A free medical and dental checkup camp would also be organised on the occasion.
Representatives from State Bank of India, Axis Bank and HDFC would also be coming so that matters related to pension are resolved on the spot and the bank accounts are linked to the Aadhaar card. Lt Col Khatri has appealed to all ex-servicemen and their family members to attend this rally in large numbers.
