VETERANS OUTREACH PROGRAM ORGANISED AT HAMIRPUR

Jalandhar, December 29, 2018: Double Victory Brigade organized an outreach programmes for the veterans at Hamirpur on 29 December 2018. Many ex-servicemen and veer naris participated in the event that was organised on behalf of Vajra Corps. A team of officers, junior commissioned officers and jawans from the army participated and attended to the requirements of the veterans. The retirees and dependents of ex-servicemen availed advantage of the medical check up camp that was set up on the occasion as also that of the canteen facilities. Problems and concerns of the veterans were discussed in as interactive session. There was healthy participation from both the sides that saw many people reaching the location from far flung areas. The event also motivated civilians and children who wish to join the Army.
