ALSO DECREASES RATE OF VERKA SHAKTI CATTLE FEED BY Rs 50
LUDHIANA, January 3, 2018: Bhupinder Singh Kular, Chairman of Verka Milk Plant in Ludhiana on Wednesday announced that the plant has started providing Rs 100 per quintal subsidy on ‘Verka Premium and Customized Cattle Feed’ to farmers.
Keeping in view that dairy farmers spend the maximum of their budget on the cattle feed, the Verka Milk Plant has also lowered the rate of ‘Verka Shakti Cattle Feed’ by Rs 50 and this decision would decrease their expenses.
Kular also said the Verka Management has been regularly working hard to uplift the standard of farmers with an aim to provide quality feed to them.
Verka Milk Plant Ludhiana General Manager Harminder Singh Sandhu told that in the international market, private companies are not coming forward to buy the milk from farmers on high rates following a slump but Verka Management has always procured the milk on good rates in the interest of farmers.
