Verka Launches 10 Grams Blister Packing Of Butter

Ludhiana, December 20, 2016: Verka, a successful and flagship brand of Milkfed Punjab today launched 10 grams blister packing of butter. For this purpose, Verka has imported a special automatic machine from Italy with a cost of Rs 4.30 crore that would blister pack the butter in packing of 10 grams. This packing was launched by Mr SR Saini, Additional Managing Director, Milkfed Punjab, Mr Harminder Singh Sandhu, General Manager, Verka Milk Plant, Ludhiana and Board of Directors, here today.
While addressing the press conference, Mr SR Saini informed that this blister packing of 10 grams of butter would help Verka in competing with multinational companies as well as other brands in this field. He said that with this blister packing, they would now focus on supplying their butter to five star hotels, airlines, railways and other consumers. He said that this packing is completely spill proof and fully pasteurised.
He said that once the butter is fed into the new Italian machine, it automatically blister packs the butter, that can be stored in the house without any spillage. He said that this packing would prove very beneficial for parents who want their children to consume butter during lunch time in schools as this blister packing of 10 grams can be put easily in their lunch boxes.
Mr Harminder Singh Sandhu, General Manager, Verka Milk Plant, Ludhiana, said that this 10 gram packing is available in the market for only Rs 5 each. He said that they are already in talks for supplying in railways, besides they are also trying to supply this butter as well as other products in airlines as well as five star and other hotels. He said that consumption of butter and other milk products is very necessary for growing children and that the parents should use Verka products if they do not want to compromise on quality.
