Various food items put up at food stall

Jalandhar, October 30, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya’s students of the Department of Food Science and Microbiology put up a food stall in the college campus. The aim behind this stall was to made students aware about the value of balanced diet in human life. The stall was inaugurated by Prof.Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya. Various food items like chocolates with oats and cornflakes, tutty fruity muffins, atta, jaggery and choco chip, cakes and cookies made of besan atta, chana Dall and choco oats were appreciated by all with many more other mouth watering delicacies. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of food science department and averred that it has become mandatory for all of us to not only avoid junk food and include some balanced food items in our daily diet schedule but also to spread awareness regarding this through these kinds of programmes.
