VAJRA Corps celebrates Kargil Day

Jalandhar, July 26, 2013: Kargil Day was celebrated on Friday by Vajra Corps. 

On this occasion Lt General AK Bakshi, General Officer Commanding, Vajra Corps, Senior Officers, serving soldiers and Ex Servicemen were present.  The proceedings began with solemn Wreath laying Ceremony at Vajra Corps War Memorial. 

The General Officer Commanding paid rich tributes to the great martyrs who sacrificed their lives fighting for the motherland with unmatched courage and bravery during the Kargil War in the true traditions of the Indian Army.  To commemorate this victory and pay tribute to our gallant soldiers and their selfless acts and unparalleled sacrifices, we celebrate Kargil Day on 26 July every year.
