Jalandhar, May 1, 2018: The Health Ministry of Punjab organised a vaccination programme against Measles/Rubella virus in various parts of Punjab. Ivy World School Jalandhar was chosen for the noble cause and it contributed towards Government in effort for the well-being of children. The vaccination was compulsory for the children between the ageof 9 months-15 years as per the Punjab Government order passed through the Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar.
Health is top on the list of life goals for everyone today. The authorities of the school recognize health related challenges faced by the people. Since a healthy body can hold a healthy mind, Ivy World School contributed to Punjab Government led vaccination campaign with utmost dedication and zeal. The School also saw maximum participation from the parents with their wards. Students were allotted different time slots according to their grades to come for vaccination along with their parents or guardians; this ensured a smooth running of the programme under the able guidance of the Principal Mrs S. Chauhan.The best part witnessed was the way children were drawing motivation from fellow students and boldly getting the vaccination done. It was the right step towards their future good health.
