USA-based NRI Beant Singh supports government school

Khanna/Ludhiana, December 11, 2019: A USA-based NRI named Beant Singh today provided financial assistance to Government Primary School, Salaudi near Khanna in district Ludhiana. Beant Singh donated four smart LED TV’s, 7 green boards and some other things worth around Rs.60,000.
On this occasion, the village Panchayat also honoured Mr Kirpal Singh Mann, maternal uncle of Beant Singh. The village panchayat also assured more help to the school in coming days.
Village Sarpanch Mandeep Singh Bector urged more NRIs and good samaritans to come forward and support the Government Primary School. School headmaster Jaswinder Singh proposed a vote of thanks. Prominent among those present on the occasion included Block Samiti member Baljit Singh, Avtar Singh Mann, Darshan Singh Panch, besides several others.
