In the 3rd Annual General Body Meeting of LETS held on Tuesday, Upkar Singh Ahuja being felicitated.

 

Ludhiana, May 20, 2014: In the 3rd Annual General Body Meeting of LETS held today it was decided to continue Upkar Singh Ahuja as Director LETS till this term. It was further decided to allot 500 sq.yds plot shortly for establishing new office and infrastructure of LETS. Approval for conducting two seminars at Ludhiana and Jalandhar in June 2014 was also granted as under:i)  Creating awareness amongst all types of Industries to become member of LETS & JBR Technologies Pvt. Ltd.ii) Adopting Water Management Techniques.
The Annual General Body Meeting was presided over by T.R. Khosla Officiating Chairman LETS cum Industrial Advisor and attended by S.P. Singh, OSD Director of Industry & Commerce Punjab.
Avtar Singh CEO LETS informed that CETP with enhanced capacity to commence functioning shortly for electroplating industries. International technology with latest techniques of European standards i.e. Thermostat and Evaporator are being installed first time in this plant. As such, this CETP will become No. 1 plant in India. This will facilitate up-gradation of MSME units for meeting out pollution related specifications
All members appreciated Avtar Singh for reducing the rate of treatment of effluents by 9 paisa per liter from operator of CETP-M/s JBR Technologies Pvt. Ltd. They also facilitated Avtar Singh for his strenuous efforts for upgrading and enhancement of CETP from 300 kl to 500 kl to cater to the needs of electroplating units functioning in the districts of Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Bathinda, Mohali & Fatehgarh Sahib.
