Chandigarh, September 22, 2015: University Business School (UBS), Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh on Monday organised Academia-Corporate Interaction Session at the department. VP-Project, DLF India Pvt Ltd.Mr Deepak Sharma interacted with the students.
The event was a forum for the current students at UBS to interact with the guests where the students could gain useful insights into the corporate world. It helped the students to widen the scope of their knowledge and to learn from their rich experience.
During the interactive session, Mr Deepak Sharma talked about Project Management and Construction Management. He elaborated on ‘Learning never ends’. He motivated and urged the students to keep learning new things and acquiring new skills. He said, “Experience is more important than Knowledge”.
Doing things practically makes a person better equipped at something than just gaining theoretical knowledge by reading books, added Mr. Sharma. We should learn new languages, travel and see the world. We must know time is valuable and should keep ourselves busy in the free time, he further added.
UBS, Chairman Prof. Suresh K. Chadha said that the students gained a lot from the talk delivered by Mr Sharma and hoped they would actually implement the lessons learnt today.
Earlier, Prof Chadha and UBS Teacher Placement Coordinator Prof. B.B. Goyal welcomed VP-Project, DLF India Pvt Ltd. Mr Deepak Sharma at the interactive session. / (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
