University Business School to organise Management Conclave – ‘Sapience 1.0’
Chandigarh, September 24, 2019: The Business Club of University Business School (UBS) will be organizing a Management Conclave – ‘Sapience 1.0’. Details about the event were shared with media at a press meet held at Panjab University. The event which will be a two day affair will be held from September 27-28, 2019 at Rajiv Gandhi College Bhawan in the University’s premises. The session timings on both days will be from 10 am till 2 pm. Prof.Deepak Kapur - Chairperson, University Business School said, “The idea behind ‘Sapience 1.0’ is to give a feel to students about real life corporate situations. Top speakers from Industry will shed light on important business issues and have an interactive session with students. It will be like hearing from the horse’s mouth." Prof Luxmi Malodia added," We invite management students from across tricity to come and take advantage of the conclave. Students interested can get in touch at UBS.” Dr. Kulwinder Singh - Advisor, Business Club of UBS said, “The theme of the conclave will be ‘Building leaders for tomorrow’. The format will be of individual speeches which will be followed by pertinent panel discussions in which CEOs’, Directors, Founders and Members of top management, will participate.” Three UBS students -Raghu Bhatia, Utkarsh Rastogi and Kriti Sharma who are an important part of the organizing team of the Management Conclave, also interacted with media. Raghu Bhatia said, “We have chosen subjects that are being discussed in corporate circles these days. Aspects like Sustainable Management, Revival of Economy ,Transformational Leadership , Shifts in Strategy ,Business Communication, Growth during Business Uncertainty, Artificial Intelligence will be part of the discussions.” Utkarsh Rastogi said, “We have been able to rope in speakers like Aquil Busrai, CEO, Aquil Busrai Consulting, Vikas Dua, VP-HR, Aegis Global, Sachin P.
