United India Insurance Co Ltd spent Rs. 17 crore for CSR activities in India: O P Bibian

Ludhiana, December 20, 2018: United India Insurance Co Ltd Divisional Office-II, Udham Singh Market, Ludhiana carried out CSR activity at Government Primary school at Village Malakpur Bet, District Ludhiana. Under the corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, company has provided many infrastructure development facilities to the Malakpur village school wherein items like Water Cooler Usha, Badminton sport kits, 25 Dual desks, 70 school bags, Lecture stand, Musical instruments, Ceiling fans, LED Bulbs and other items nearly amount of two lakhs.
On this occasion, Mr O P Bibian, Regional Manager, Mr Sanjeev Khanna (Senior Divisional Manager), Mrs Usha Grover (Nodal Officer), Mr Mohit Thakur Branch Manager and Mr Harvider Singh Admn.Officer attended the function at above school and handed over the above amenities to the school management.
A colourful cultural programme was also organized by the school students. A quiz related to insurance awareness for students was also conducted.
Regional Manager Mr O P Bibian of United India Insurance Co. Ltd said that our company has adopted many villages and provided infrastructure development facilities to various rural areas and government schools in Ludhiana region. Across India, company has spent Rs. 17 crore for these CSR activities.
