Ultra Modern Sports Park At Village Jangpur Inaugurated

Jangpur (Ludhiana), August 6, 2016: The newly constructed ultra modern Sports Park in village Jangpur was inaugurated by Dakha MLA Mr Manpreet Singh Ayali and other prominent people today. This Sports Park has been constructed with the efforts of MLA Ayali and active support of Jangpur village residents. Mayor Mr Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria, ADC (Development) Miss Apneet Riyait and several other prominent people were also present on the occasion.
This sports park at village Jangpur has been constructed on 3-acre piece of land and area residents can use it for playing football, hockey, athletics track and has an open gym, swings for children, open air gym, sprinkler system, footpath for walking, huts, benches, footlights, flood lights and fencing from all four sides.
While speaking on the occasion, Mr Manpreet Singh Ayali informed that Jangpur village has its own well known football team named "Jangpur FC" and the village residents also organise a Football league regularly. He said this this international level sports park would now be used by Jangpur FC as well as the village residents for various purposes. Mr Ayali also congratulated Mr Parminder Singh, an NRI, who manages the Jangpur FC.
Mr Ayali said that main aim of developing this sports infrastructure is to nurture hidden sporting talent from Dakha constituency. He said that day is not far when Indian team for Olympics as well as other major sports events would have maximum representation from Dakha. MLA Mr Manpreet Singh Ayali also wished good luck to the Indian contingent for Rio Olympics.
Mr Ayali further informed that a total of 60 sports parks and 16 volleyball courts are being constructed in Dakha constituency. He said that the sports parks at village Gujjarwal and Dhaipai have already been inaugurated and opened for area residents. Besides this, within one month, the sports parks at villages Chachrari, Sahauli, Rurka, Dhurkot, Latala, Bhattian Dhahan, Bhoondri, Dakha and Bharowal Kalan would be inaugurated. And all the remaining sports parks would be inaugurated within next three months time.
He said that these sports parks are being constructed in such a way that there would be no water accumulation during rainfall and there would be a system for recharging of underground water table or recycling it for irrigation.
While speaking on the occasion, Mr Ayali claimed that all the sports parks being developed in Dakha constituency are first of their kind in Rural India.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included councillor Bhupinder Singh Bhinda, Harbir Singh Ayali, Harkinder Singh Ayali, Manpreet Singh Mani, Vishu, besides several others.
