UILS, PU organises Intra-Department Personification Competition 2019

Chandigarh, January 29, 2019: The Literary Society of University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh, under the able guidance of Dr. Sasha and Dr. Chanchal Narang conducted an Intra-Department Personification Competition under Avant Garde on 29th of January, 2019. The Intra-department personification competition aimed at helping the students with their verbal skills and the art of mimicking as well as allowing them to showcase their acting fervour, saw the earnest participation of students from all semesters. The medium of speech for the competition was English, Hindi or Punjabi. On 29th January 2019, the participants contested for the much coveted trophy of the UILS Intra-Department Personification competition. The competition was judged by the accomplished minds of Mr. Gursher Singh and Mr. Ajay Sood. The cut-throat competition among participants was evident from the fact that there was a tie among participants for all three positions. Rahul Sangwan and Ankur Goyat were adjudged as the winners, Kartik Duvedi and Abhimanyu were awarded the trophy of first runners-up while Surner Singh and Sanigdha shared the trophy for the second runners-up. The esteemed judges shared their thoughts with students and provided them with some valuable tips on life. They congratulated all the winners and encouraged all the participants for their future endeavours. Overall, the event turned out to be a great learning experience for all the participants as well as the volunteers.
