UIET, Panjab University to host ATAL Workshop on 3-D printing and design

Chandigarh, November 19, 2019: University Institute of Engineering & Technology, Panjab University will host one week AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Workshop on 3-D Printing and Design from November 25-29, 2019 with the objective to empower faculty and provide training in technology for 3-D printing and design. The AICTE sponsored workshop will comprise of sessions by domain experts on topics such as CAD models, FDM based 3-D printing, stereo-lithography as well as hands-on practical sessions. Faculty and research scholars from various AICTE approved institutions from all over India will be participating in this multidisciplinary workshop. The workshop is being conducted under the leadership of Prof. Savita Gupta, Director, UIET and overall patronage of Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of Panjab University. SYNERGY CELEBRATED AT IETVE, PU Chandigarh, November 19, 2019: “Synergy” was celebrated in the premises of the Institute of Educational Technology and Vocational Education(UIET), Panjab University, Chandigarh with the aim to channelize latent talent and nurture life skills of students. The theme of the event was “PATRIOTISM is the first duty of every religion”. The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Rekha. Students exhibited their talent in documentary, Mime, poetry, play, debate/discussion, dance etc. Dr. Kanwalpreet Kaur, Chairperson, applauded the efforts of students and motivated them to develop skills which would be relevant in the future times. The buzz and enthusiasm of the participants and spectators was visible during programme.
