Ludhiana, October 6, 2015: Faculty of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College has bagged Research Awards from University Grants Commission, New Delhi for last consecutive three years. For year 2016-18, this award has been granted to Dr.Rupinder Singh, Professor (Production Engg.) and Dr.G.S.Brar, Assistant Professor (Mech. Engineering ). For Year 2015-17, this award was granted to Dr.Harwinder Singh, Professor (Mech. Engineering) . For year 2014-16, this award was granted to Dr. Harvinder Singh, Associate Professor (Civil Engineering).
Under this award, the full salary of faculty is paid by University Grants Commission and the research awardees are fully dedicated to work on research project of National Importance.
This achievement is the result of consistent and tireless efforts put in by the concerned faculty members in particular and Management, staff and students of the Institution as a whole.
