The music industry’s the most iconic trio, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu was seen on the stage of Sony Entertainment Television’s latest offering the kid’s singing reality show Superstar Singer. The show has already garnered a lot of eyes. With its TRP reaching heights, the show has become one of the biggest platforms on Indian television. The latest episode of the show promises to be fully loaded with entertainment as the stage of Superstar Singer was graced by the legendary ‘90s trio. It was the first time on Indian television when Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu were seen on a stage together. On the episode, the Bole Chudiyan singer Udit Narayan complains about Kumar Sanu’s entry in the music industry and says that the Ankh Marey singer’s entry in the industry caused issues in his and Alka Yagnik’s relation. The singer mockingly revealed on Superstar singer, “Before Kumar Sanu came in the music industry in 1990, Alka Yagnik and I were the biggest contemporaries in the Industry and we were very close too. But since Kumar Sanu made an entrance in the industry, he stole my limelight and took Alka away from me with his talents.” Udit Narayan jokingly added, “I was very fond of Alka Yagnik and we were very dear friends but Kumar Sanu came in between and stole my friend. I felt replaced ever since Kumar Sanu came and stole my limelight.” During this banter on the sets of Superstar Singer the ‘Cheez Badi’ singer also went on to say, “I swore since then that, before I leave this industry I will take my revenge on Kumar Sanu and make him feel the way I felt.” The trio was caught having a gala time on the episode. From teasing each other to praising each other the evening was a joyride down the memory lane through the ‘90s.
