TWO STUDENTS DIED IN A ROAD ACCIDENT

FEROZEPUR, June 26, 2017: In a heartrending incident, two students belonging to this border region died in a road mishap today afternoon. The deceased have been identified as Abhishek (17) son of Anil Kumar and Chand (16) alias Suraj son of Bittu, both residents of Ferozepur Cantonment area and students of a private school.
As per information available, these two along with their friends Mohit and Ravi Kumar were travelling on a bike when their bike was hit by a Punjab Roadways bus. While both Abhishek and Chand died on the spot while Mohit and Ravi serious injuries. Later, Mohit was shifted to Faridkot Medical College due his deteriorating condition.
Injured Ravi said that all of them had gone to Wajidpur to pay obeisance and the accident took place when they were coming back.
A pall of gloom descended in the cantonment area as soon as the news of the death of these two youth was spread.
