Ludhiana, February 6, 2015: Post Graduate Department of Commerce & Business Management, Arya College, Ludhiana organised two day ICSSR sponsored Seminar on Green Marketing.
Today, the day one began with an inaugural session presided by D.L.Sharma, M.D., Vardhman Yarns & Threads Ltd.as chief guest. Dr.R.C.Tejpal, Principal, Arya College, as Patron of seminar gave him a floral welcome. The event began with the speech of Dr.M.A.Zahir, Chairman, Synetic Business School, who was invited as a keynote speaker. Prof.A.K.Singla, Head of the Post Graduate Department of Commerce & Business Management, Arya College extended him a warm welcome. First technical session was chaired by Dr.Ravi Inder Singh, Professor, University Business School P.U. Regional Centre, Ludhiana, who expressed his views on this contemporary issue followed by paper presentations which throw light on the need and importance of green marketing in this era of globalisation. Various presenters discussed the opportunities and challenges of going green and how different sectors like banking, IT, agriculture and all business entities are using green marketing mix for customer satisfaction and for a sustainable future.
After a break, second technical session began with the speech of Dr. R.L. Behl, Principal, Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce & Management as a resource person, again followed by the presentations which came out with a conclusion that Green Marketing is the biggest need for the hour and has become indispensable for each and every business enterprise and for a sustainable future.
