Two Day Celebrations of Founder’s Day organized at KVM
Ludhiana: Gaiety, illuminations, enthusiasm and music marked the two day celebrations of the Founder’s day of Kundan Vidya Mandir. P.S. Puniha(IRS), director General of Investigation (Income Tax) Chandigarh and on next day Major General I.P Singh V.S.M, Director Armed Forces Preperatory Institutes, Mohali, was the chief guest of the Occasion. V.K Goyal, the Chairman, School Managing Committee, Mr.Ashwani Kumar, the Manager School Managing Committee along with other dignitaries graced the Occasion. After the plantation of saplings the chief Guest received the guard of honour presented by Iron Eagel Cadets. The function began with the lighting of ceremonial lamp and invoking the blessings of God Almighty through Saraswati Vandana. On this founder’s day a thought provoking & theme based programme was put up by students to create awareness on the need to save our indispensable treasures like time, water, trees and relationship. A series of scintillating performances was staged where more than 1000 students participated. The Choreography “I am enough” beautifully propounded the message that every individual effort counts to bring the desired change to make India a better place to live in. The Principal of the school Navita Puri presented the annual report and shared the glory of achievements won by the students and staff. The chief guests lauded the efforts of the KVM team and appreciated the thought of provoking and magnificent performances. Chief Guest P.S. Puniha urged the students to become the agents of change and another Chief Guest Major Gen. I.P. Singh encouraged the students to serve the nation with dedication & commitment. Ashwani Kumar, the manger school managing committee, proposed a vote of thanks. The grand finale ‘ Dhol Khushian De’ rocked the auditorium with vibrant and energetic moves of Bhangra. The national Anthem marked the closing of this Gala Event
