Jalandhar, November 7, 2012: Bollywood actors Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif , Anushka Sharma today visited Doaba College Jalandhar City to pay their rich tributes to Producer , Director Yash Chopra .

The star cast was in city to start promotion of the movie “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” from the home town of Yash Chopra. The movie is scheduled to be released on Diwali.  

Yash Chopra was old student of Doaba College.

In the open air theater of the college was completely jam packed with students.

Sharukh Khan paid rich tributes to Yash Chopra. He said Yash Chopra was a legend director who always through his films tried to gave a message of love and humanity.

He added Yash Chopra was alive in his mind.

Further, Khan said the films made by Yash Chopra were memorable.

Khan said they had not come here for a promotion of the movie. Rather, they were here to pay tributes to Yash Chopra. He said in an emotional touch that they were emotionally attached to him. He said he considered himself lucky that he got a chance to work with a versatile director. He added he was also a luckiest person that he even got a chance to act in Yash Chopra’s last film.

Khan said after the today’s visit, they would start promoting the movie from Thursday onwards.

He shared some moments of his memories during the film production on sets.  

Actress Katrina Kaif said that the Film Director Yash Chopra memories would remain alive for ever through his films.

Actress Anushka Sharma also reminded of the memories during the production of the film.

The film actors were honored by the college staff, BJP National Executive Member and BJP Spokesman Punjab Manoranjan Kalia, Chief Parliamentary Secretary K. D. Bhandari, Mayor Sunil Jyoti, Vir Partap Editor Chander Mohan, Principal Doaba College and others were present.
