Tribute paid former Indian Spy Mohan Lal Bhaskar

A rich tribute being paid by the administration to Mohan Lal Bhaskar, former Indian spy, by setting up a memorial on his name, at Ferozepur on Thursday.

Ferozepur, October 2, 2014: A rich tribute was paid by the administration to Mohan Lal Bhaskar, a renowned educationist, social worker, film producer, author and former Indian spy, by setting up a memorial on his name, on the crossroad near Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner’s residence and on the road to Hussainiwala. The plaques of immortal revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev are also established on this Memorial, decorated with fascinating lights and flowers.
Hundreds of people converged on this memorable occasion including top brass of Ferozepur administration, political leaders, social workers, doctors and common people.
Kamal Sharma, President, Punjab BJP, DPS Kharbanda, Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur, Lakbhir Singh, SP (D), Sandip Singh Gerha, SDM, Ferozepur, Vibhor Sharma, DSP (City) and Gaurav Bhaskar, President of Mohan Lal Bhaskar Foundation, formally inaugurated the Memorial. Gaurav Bhaskar, son of Mohan Lal Bhaskar, who himself is a renowned journalist; an renowned educationist and a social worker, said on this occasion that the ML Bhaskar Foundation shall look after the maintenance of this memorial.
Kamal Sharma, President, Punajb BJP said that ML Bhaskar was an inspiration for the youth. He endured indescribable throbbing for his motherland. M L Bhaskar spent his youth in the cumbrous jails of Pakistan.  
Kharbanda, Deputy Commissioner, open heartily praised M L Bhaskar and said youth need to learn a lot from his life.
Prof. H K Gupta, Dr. S N Rudra, Harmeet Vidyarathi, Nand Kishore Guggan, Santokh Singh, Surinder Goyal, Dr. Naresh Khanna, Dr. Parveen Dhingra, Jaswinder Singh Butewala, Ashwini Grover, Ashwini Mehta, Davinder Bajaj, Harish Goyal, Gulshan Monga, and many other prominent personalities of the region also graced the occasion.
