Tressed Up International Academy opens in Zirakpur

Zirakpur, March 11, 2015: After opening an Academy that imparts training to those wanting to make a career in the beauty & hair styling Industry, in Chandigarh, Tressed-Up International Academy(TIA), in Association with Indola—the World Famous Hair & Tress Specialists, has launched a state-of-the-art centre at Zirakpur on the posh VIP Road area. The inauguration of the Academy was done in glamourous style with Expert Trainers of the Academy who showed their skills by doing unique hair dos for models. The event also saw a demo of how a Hair Spa is conducted. Nirmit, who is a Hair Styling expert with Indola, showcased latest trends in Hair Styling & Design.

Heena Khan, CEO, Tressed-Up International Academy, said, “We noticed that there was no option available for those who wanted to do hair, beauty, skin etc related career oriented courses in the tri-city, so we have opened this Academy which has all facilities to teach these vocational courses to desirous candidates. Our USP is as an emphasis on practical training. We have ultra modern hi-tech labs And Cibtac & Cidesco (UK) certified staff. For the first time Air Brush make-up will be taught on International machines in the region. There are capsules which will equip students get jobs abroad.”

Mehboob Khan said, “International Diploma Courses like Masters in Cosmetology (2 years), Post graduate diploma in Cosmetology (1.5 years), Advance diploma in Cosmetology (8 months), diploma in Cosmetology, a 6-month certificate course in beauty & hair designing and 3-months Certificate course in Body Spa/ Nail Art & Extension/ Professional make up are available at TIA.”

Adds Nirmit, who heads the training programmes related to Hair at TIA, “The Beauty & Wellness Industry is fast emerging as a major employer of manpower in India & Abroad. However, there are very few Academies available for skill development. TIA will fill the vacuum.
