TRANSFER: 3 IPS Officers transferred

Chandigarh, November1, 2012: The Punjab Government today transferred three IPS officer in the state with immediate effect.  

Disclosing this here today a spokesman of the Punjab Government said that B. K. Bawa, IPS has been transferred and posted as IGP/Vigilance Punjab, Chandigarh.

V. Nerja, IPS has been posted as Director Vigilance Punjab, Chandigarh and A.S. Rai, IPS has been posted as IGP-Cum-Director vigilance EOW and FS-1 Punjab Chandigarh.

The spokesman further said that Asthana, IPS, IGP (Under Suspension) was suspended by the Government of Punjab and his headquarter during the suspension period was fixed in the 0/0 The Chief Director Vigilance Bureau Punjab is hereby withdrawn and his Headquarter during suspension is fixed in the o/o The Director General of Punjab Police Headquarter Chandigarh.
