Training  programme on packaging for exports at CICU Complex

Ludhiana, June 29, 2016: MSME Development Institute, Ludhiana in association with Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) organised 2-days training programme on packaging for exports at Conference Hall, CICU, Ludhiana.
The main objective of the programme is to create consciousness about the latest packaging techniques, design, trends, standards and technology for domestic and export market. The training programme will consist of technical session and case study for better understanding of the technical aspects of the packaging followed by question answer session.
Vijay Kumar, Director, MSME-DI, Ludhiana while speaking on the occasion, said packaging plays a vital role in marketing of the products either in domestic or international marketing. He added there is a meet to adopt the latest packaging techniques and designs.
Avtar Singh, president, CICU, said that the programme is useful for all the industrial sectors. He added market of the product cannot be done without packaging.
Upkar Singh Ahuja, General Sectary, CICU, expresses his gratitude to MSME and faculties of Indian Institute of Packaging Delhi for providing the new concepts in packaging.
Rahul Tripude, Assistant Director, Indian Institute of Packaging, New Delhi spoke about the basics of packaging its significant in International Trade.
SS Bedi, former assistant director of MSME also spoke on the occasion.
Programme was attended by 30 industries of the MSMEs. The workshop will begin with welcome address and brief of the programme to create consciousness about the latest packaging techniques, design, trends, standards and technology for domestic and export market by MSME Development Institute, Ludhiana. The expert faculty for technical session of this programme will be from the Indian Institute of Packaging, New Delhi. The expert faculty will provide the technical inputs on significance of good packaging practices in international trade, case study of product packaging, analysis of packaging of the participants, practical demonstrations and field visits.
