Tour to Pushpa Gujral Science city made mandatory for Polytechnic students

Chandigarh, September 19, 2012:The Punjab Government today issued instructions to all polytechnic colleges making the visit of students to Pushpa Gujral Science City situated on Jalandhar-Kapurthala Road compulsory.

Disclosing this here today Anil Joshi, Technical Education and Industrial Training Minister said that it would be compulsory for students of all polytechnic colleges to visit Science City once in three year course. He said that Science City was one of its own city set up by Punjab  Government that encourages scientific temperament amongst the students and encourages them to think on scientific pattern and  helps them to make different projects and models  which are the part of the curriculum of polytechnic course.
