Three days workshop on RSETI

Chandigarh, November 29, 2014: Three days appreciation workshop at Vikas Bhawan Mohali on Regional self employment training institutions (RSETI) held by National Academy of RUDSET concluded by C.Sibin Director Rural Development & Panchayat department, Punjab.

Disclosing this here today an official spokesman of the government said that the workshop was held from 27th to 29th November. Lead Bank Managers, Director RSETIs and officials of the DRDAs and PSRLM participated and had valueable knowledge to run the RSETIs and help the rural poor and unemployed youth to start their own ventures and generate employment after taking the training from RSETIs.

He further said that on the middle day of the workshop, there was an exposure visit to the Moga RSETI established and run by Punjab & Sind Bank, where the successful trainees were interacted and they told their success stories.

C. Sibin, Director (RDP) assured that the land to the remaining Districts where the RSETIs are not established will be allotted soon. Sh. Mohinder Singh Deputy Director-cum- ACEO also deliever a lecture  about the role of Rural Haats in the marketing of the products prepared by the youth trained throu RSETIs. K.C.Sharma, Punjab State Project Coordinator (RSETI) gave a vote of thanks to the faculty from National Accademy for RUDSET and tha participants.
