69 companies select 576 students & 188 shortlist in three day job fair at CT Group
Jalandhar, November 20, 2018: A three-day mega job fair of District Administration, Jalandhar and CT Group of Institutions concluded on a high note at CT Polytechnic College, Shahpur campus today. The job fair was organized for the students of X passed, XII passed, UG/PG/Diploma and ITI.
In a three day mega job fair, 1412 students got registered from Doaba region, out of which, 188 students got shortlisted and 576 students get selected by 69 companies. Companies namely Red Carpet, Smart Wiz, Bharat Lab, Verka Diary, Pukhraj Health Care, Simson Software, TCY Online, OLA Aggregators, Tata BSS, ICICI, Patel Hospital and Metro etc participated in the job fair.
Honorable Member of Parliament Santokh S Chaudhary paid a visit in a job fair along ADC Jitendra Jorwal on the first day of the job fair.
Abhishek Soni, Deputy Director, Center for Career, Planning and Counseling (CCPC) said, “This is a great platform given by the Government in order raise the employment opportunities for the young generation and the response has been outstanding. The key motive is to give maximum number of jobs to the pass out students and for those as well who are looking for jobs and we thank all the companies for participating and to all the students for attending the fair.”
Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group of Institutions congratulated the selected candidates for the jobs and expressed his contentment by virtue of the fact that the institutions always work towards providing employment opportunities for the students.
