THREE additional companies of CAPFs deputed for Moga bye-election

Chandigarh, February 21, 2013: Three additional companies of Central Para military Forces have been deputed for the smooth and peaceful conduct of Moga bye election.

Disclosing this here, an official spokesperson of the Chief Electoral Office, Punjab said that the Union Home Ministry has taken this decision in view of the increased sensitivity in Moga district. The spokesperson further said that seven companies have already been stationed for this bye-election. He said that with three new companies for bye-election, the total number of central para military companies deputed at Moga become 10.
