Ludhiana, August 5, 2012: Textile Mazdoor Union held a massive meeting of industrial workers at GLADA Grounds here today.
The gathering was informed that new office bearers of the union have been elected. These included Rajwinder (president), Raj Mohammed (vice president), Vishawnath (general secretary), Vishal (secretary) and Gopal (cashier).
Addressing the gathering, Rajwinder said the formation of the union was big achievement in the recent past. He regretted that the textile industrial workers were not getting complete justice at the hands of their employers. He said the union would continue its efforts of bring the workers under an umbrella and getting their all the issued settled.
