Dharamshala, September 28, 2015: Team India reached Dharamshala on Monday noon , 4 days in advance to its inaugural match with South Africa of the Mahatma Gandhi –Mandela series being staring here in HPCA stadium on October 2.
The sources said that the team will go for a rigorous physical fitness training in Dharamshala in coming days before the match. It was the idea of Ravi Shashtri to stay fit in Dharamshala to give tough fight to South Africa.
Mohit Sood, the press secretary of the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) said, "Earlier, the players and the coaching staff were planned to reach Dharamshala on September 30.” Another HPCA official said that "Ravi Shastri have discussed with Anurag Thakur - the president of HPCA, about necessary logistics for the high-altitude training of the team India . Anuragji in response geared up HPCA to make arrangements ."
Before reaching Dharamshala , the Indian team was undergoing a skill conditioning camp at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.
