Taiwanese companies' cutting edge tech solutions made them strong contenders for smart city projects

New Delhi, May 17, 2017: In the 3rd Smart Cities 2017 expo , Taiwan reiterated a strong message about its ability to provide intelligent smart solutions to enhance the Smart City experience. The three-day expo kick started on 10th may and completed on 12th may at Pragati Maidan . This was the second consecutive year that Taiwan Excellence was a part of the event and this year top Taiwanese firms including Billion Electric, Advantech, Fuho Technology, CTCI Group and Wintech Electric were its part.

Day 1 of the expo had kicked off with opening remarks made by Ms. Mei-Hua Wang, Vice Minister, the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), Taiwan.

A seminar was organised by Taiwan Excellence on Day 2 of the expo to attract various organizations and entities that award contracts.It started with opening remarks by Mr. Yii Feng Chang, Economic Secretary, representative of Economic Division, TAIPEI Economic and Cultural Center in India. The event included five sessions covering various successful smart solution projects by Taiwan-based companies including Billion Electric’s MW Solar Farm PV String Monitoring & Lighting Control CCMS Solutions,Advantech’s Transforming Renewable Energy Operations with IoT, Fuho Technology’s Smart Public Transportation Systems, CTCI Group’s Smart Tracking System and Wintech Electric’s Partial discharge smart monitoring detection system for high-voltage equipment.

The participated Taiwanese firms are providers of a number of superlative smart solutions that have been deployed in projects across the world.
